Production Coordinator

Reporting To: Senior Director, Operations

Responsibilities

• This is a newly created position reporting directly to VP of Operations, whose responsibilities include overseeing manufacturing and R&D. The Production Coordinator will work closely with one of the most important, senior level managers in the company and will have the valuable opportunity to learn pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Follow through on work assigned to various manufacturing departments (weighing, blending, granulation, compression, encapsulation, and coating)
• Help prioritize manufacturing workflow
• Monitor the production board and communicate progress to the Account Services Department
• Expedite the issue of batches
• Generate and review extensive production documentation
• Help with customer correspondence and perform many other critical tasks in the organization

Qualifications

• BS Degree, MBA degree A+
• At least two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel
• Skilled at multitasking and prioritizing
• Desire to work in a dynamic, state of the art manufacturing environment with unlimited career growth potential
