Reporting To: Director, Packaging Maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Ability to setup and operate variety of filling/packaging machines (Filler's, Capper's, Cartoners, Blister Equipment, Printer's, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot machines/equipment
  • Repair/replace worn/defected parts
  • Assemble and test/operate machinery to verify malfunction corrections
  • Must be able to follow GMP guidelines
  • Maximize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Assist in commissioning and validation of manufacturing systems
  • Perform Preventative & Corrective Maintenance and troubleshoot for packaging equipment
  • Perform critical equipment setup during product changeover
  • Daily monitoring to ensure trouble-free operation of manufacturing systems
  • Complete Repair & Maintenance worksheets following Good Documentation Practices
  • Previous machine shop experience
  • Basic Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledge
  • Assist Director with all projects as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting pharmaceutical packaging equipment including tablet filler, cappers, labelers, cartoners, video jets, etc.
  • In depth knowledge of Set-Up & Operation of Packaging equipment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of GMP guidelines
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Stable employment history
