Reporting To: Manager, Quality Assurance
Responsibilities
- Provide Quality Assurance Support to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes which include: Compounding, Pharmacy, Tableting, Encapsulation, and Coating.
- Monitor and collect data during all phases of production for conformance to specifications and procedures
- Perform testing on products as required, i.e. weight checks, friability, hardness/thickness, disintegration, comparison and tooling/imprint checks
- Gather samples of product at different phases of production
- Documentation of process following SOP guidelines
- Inspection of manufacturing rooms and equipment
- Coordinate with manufacturing personnel regarding product issues
- Reconcile review and closeout tablet and capsule production folders
- Assist with writing process deviations and investigations
Qualifications
- Weekend Shifts Available: Sat & Sun from 7pm - 7am or Sat and Sun 8am - 4:30pm
- High school diploma with Associates or Bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacology or related discipline
- One year QA experience, preferably in pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to write and communicate very effectively in English
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to focus on details
- Stable work history with previous employer references
