Manufacturing Coordinator - Pharmaceutical

Reporting To: COO

Responsibilities

  • Follow through on work assigned to various manufacturing departments (weighing, blending, granulation, compression, encapsulation, and coating)
  • Help prioritize manufacturing workflow
  • Monitor the production board and communicate progress to the Account Services Department
  • Expedite the issue of batches
  • Generate and review extensive production documentation
  • Help with customer correspondence and perform many other critical tasks in the organization
  • Organize manufacturing operations to produce safe, efficacious and compliant pharmaceutical goods
  • Provide technical advice, answer questions, and serve as an advisor on all manufacturing related issues
  • Investigate and resolve including root cause identification and CAPA implementation, as they relate to manufacturing deviations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, DEA, FDA and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
  • This is a newly created position offering the valuable opportunity to learn all phases of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Some work experience in manufacturing or related industry
  • Must have BS Degree, MBA preferred - recent grads welcome to apply.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel
  • Skilled at multitasking and prioritizing
